CONTACT LENS DEPT-2 Contact Lens Licensed Opticians, well respected in field. In optics since 1979 for K Heather Power, FCLSA and since 1986 for Sandra Blanchette. We fit all types of contacts (CL) incl Soft, Disp and RGP. We fit CL for astigmatism, dry eye, presbyopia (bifocals), cosmetic tints and prosthetic tints, Keratoconus, Pediatric, etc. Large inventory in soft/disp means same day fitting in many cases. Corneal Mapping is available. We do Accelerated Overnight Ortho-K, a non-surgical alternative to laser refractive surgery. We offer on-site polishing of RGP (while you wait with appt). We specialize in difficult fittings. Sandra and Heather also teach the "Advanced Practices Year 2 - Contact Lenses", for the Opticians of Manitoba, mentor several students each year and lecture across Canada. FRAME DEPT-1 Licensed Optician, Harold Klause and Sandra Blanchette also. We specialize in high Rx's and multi-focal products for various tasks. We offer brand name frames, plano and Rx sunglasses, lens products and some accessories. Harold also teaches the 1st year of Optical Sciences (Eyeglasses) for the Opticians of Manitoba. PROSTHETIC EYE DEPT - Kathleen Kisiloski is the only board certified Ocularist in Manitoba. She can produce an artificial eye from taking a mold of the eye socket, to finished eye in one day.
